Shareena graduated with Honours in 2005, after which she chose to work in the retail banking industry where she gained an insight to the creation, maintenance and discharge of mortgages. She was then admitted into the legal profession in 2008 and over time, learnt and mastered the craft of resolving disputes. She continues to practice and refine her skills on a daily basis.
In 2018, she was assessed by the Law Society of NSW and became an Accredited Specialist in Dispute Resolution.
Specialist Accreditation is a structured peer to peer assessment process enabling legal practitioners to be recognised for their expertise. To be accredited specialists must pass a series of meticulous assessments on both legal knowledge and its application in practice. To retain their accreditation specialists must undertake significant additional professional development in their area of expertise each year.
Shareena’s extensive knowledge and experience, combined with her excellent negotiation skills, allow her to resolve the majority of clients' disputes outside the Court system. This means that her clients are able to achieve a successful outcome without having to be involved in costly and time-consuming litigation. Having said that, where resolution is unlikely, Shareena litigates using military thinking, business tactics, legal strategy and beyond.
