Eadz Tang (also known as Eddy) is an associate in our strata & property team and was admitted as a lawyer in April 2011.
Eddy has significant experience in property law and transactions in NSW involving acquisitions and disposals in all types of real properties, for instance in the area of residential, mixed-use commercial centres, factories, retail shopping centres, and rural properties, non-real asset sales and purchases including holiday parks and business assets, provision of structuring and high-level advices to developers in off-plan development projects involving project and sales management, stratum subdivision, joint venture agreements, master contracts, option agreements, first right of refusals, easements, advices on local LEPs and EPA, and other individual property matters such as deeds of partition, aerial trespass and reconciliation, acquisition of public land, insolvency sales, co-ownership agreements, related party transfers/ dealings, etc.
He also has experience in strata law advices and management across various strata, community, neighbourhood and precinct schemes with respect to drafting and advices on bylaws, management statements and agreements, development contracts, dispute resolution, and various strata management issues leveraging on the extensive experience and pioneering knowledge within Grace Lawyers.
As part of his homage in property law and transactions, he also has a strong background in various complex commercial and retail leases acting for lessors and lessees, including advertising signage agreements, green leases, shopping centre leases, various licenses, off-plan agreement to leases / subleases. Some recent experience involved the Barangaroo off-plan retail lease on behalf of the lessee, and various small-medium shopping centres on behalf of the lessors involving archor tenants such as Coles and IGA.
He also has a robust background in commercial and finance transactions, having acted in numerous purchases and sales of businesses and acted for private equity financiers involving shareholding agreements, construction finance agreements, priority deeds, PPS securities agreements and advices, risk participation agreements, and have provided various general business and commercial advices.
He has joined Grace Lawyers in 2017 and is looking forward to specialise in the area of strata and property law.
